What will happen on my first visit?

During your Complimentary Consultation, we will determine if the wellness plans that we offer will be able to treat your individual situation. During your visit, Dr. Steve will have a chance to review your health concerns, how everything began, what pain you may have, what treatments you’ve previously undergone and to see how this has affected your life in a negative way.

The next and most VITAL part of your visit is the Exam. The exam is based on neurology, spinal biomechanics, and posture. This exam is not like your typical chiropractic or medical exam. Our main goal is to find the underlying cause of your condition. The results of the exam will reveal if we accept your case. We do not accept every patient.

At the end of your first visit, you will be given a script for x-rays to be taken prior to your next appointment. We will then schedule you for a report of the findings visit. During this follow-up visit, the doctor will go over your x-ray results. We highly recommend you bring someone who helps make your health decisions with you. These results will reveal whether or not we can accept your case.

Are X-rays needed?

Yes. (There are times when a child may not need them or if you have recently taken x-rays or MRIs.)

While we do offer relief care, our primary focus is corrective care. X-rays are needed for the doctor to visualize your spine. We refer all x-rays to a radiology facility near our office. Once the radiologist clears you from anything that would have to be referred out, we examine your x-rays looking for spinal deviations that affect your nervous system. This is where Dr. Steve will determine if he can help you and give his best recommendations.

Will insurance cover my care?

Since our focus is on corrective spinal care with proper nutrition, we have realized that some insurance companies do not pay that for this type of care. Due to the limitations of being in network, our office is an out-of-network provider and we work with insurance plans that cover out-of-network benefits. Specific questions relating to your health concerns are asked so when recommendations for treatment are presented, you’ll have a complete understanding of your care, insurance coverage, and your out-of-pocket contribution to your health.
